2010-05-20 [NOOOPE]: Wow wow noooo, one at a tiiiiime. Just your newest. You replace it when you have something newer.
2010-05-20 [The Dizzy Raven]: hahahaa!!!! oh!!!! lol :) sorry ^_^'
2010-05-20 [The Dizzy Raven]: how's that? :)
2010-05-20 [NOOOPE]: Much better, thank you.
2010-05-20 [Pnelma Tirian]: well done! especially the nose and mouth! Although it looks a little bit like a fox to me >.<; Not that I am particularly versed in wolves or foxes.
2010-05-20 [Falx]: Very well done. I like how there appears to be motion in the fur, like the wind's blowing across it.
2010-05-20 [pegasus1000]: It looks like the wolf was attacked by a porcupine on the left hand side. I like the transition from the head to the body. The whole picture has a realistic depth and that is nice to see. In one of the eyes is seems like the pupil is to high, you also need a little work on the nose. This is a truly great scratching I love it.
2010-05-20 [The Dizzy Raven]: haha! ^_^ Thanks so much for the comments and suggestion!! :)
yeah, I really do need to work better on the noses. I've also never done scratchboard before, but I hope to get the hang of it with more practice. It's just that when the scratchboards aren't on sale they're really expensive.
2010-05-20 [Chel.]: Pretty cool! I really like the face and the nose! My only thing is that it sort of bends down...making it look like a furry. The body would probably be behind the head if I'm not mistaken.
2010-05-20 [The Dizzy Raven]: I was trying to add more of an artistic element to it but I ended up failing there lol
It's still my first wolf sractboard. I did a dragon one before but that was easier for me 'cause dragons are what I'm used to drawing a lot
2010-05-21 [arthemis_]: Hey, if the wolf was sitting down, you could get this perspective! Looks like a very difficult technique, without room for mistakes! Really cool picture, though I have some trouble with the nose.
2010-05-22 [The Dizzy Raven]: haha thanks
yeah that's what people have been saying. I've always had problems drawing noses.
2010-05-22 [NOOOPE]: What Chel said. The snout looks wrong. When I cover it up, it looks fine. I think the problem is the perspective. Drawing canines from the front is HARD. I think the problem is the snout looks flat and the nose don't quite line up with the center line of the head.
